Mrs. Henningsen Died Tuesday
Mrs. Herman Henningsen, 55, died at her home in Dike Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from coronary occlusion. She had been an asthma sufferer for many years.
The funeral has tentatively been set for Saturday afternoon at the Fredsville Lutheran church. Burial will be in the Dike cemetery. The body is at the Dahl Funeral Home in Cedar Falls.
Mrs. Henningsen's maiden name was Minnie Kroemer. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Kroemer and was born November 17, 1895, near New Hartford. Following her marriage to Herman Henningsen on November 19, 1914, the couple farmed in Fairfield township until moving to Dike in 1926. She was a member of the Fredsville Lutheran church and the Fredsville Ladies Aid.
The deceased is survived by her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Brandhorst and Mrs. Keith Bowers of Dike; Mrs. K. Martin Stevenson of Palos Verdesestos, Calif., also five brothers, Carl and Maynard, Waterloo; Alvin and William, Cedar Falls; John R., Los Angeles, and three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Kroge, Los Angeles; Mrs. Earl Brinkman, Chicago; and Mrs. Hans Lindberg, Janesville. There are also five grandsons.
