Gone To Her Reward

Rebecca C. Morrison was born in Boonsborough, Maryland, Oct. 7, 1836. She moved with her parents to Adeline, Ill., where she lived until April 11, 1854, when she was united in marriage to Charles Philbrick, and lived near her childhood home until 1864 when they moved to Lincoln township, Grundy county, Ia., where they resided until her death. Her age was sixty-three years, five months and twenty days. Mrs. Philbrick was the mother of two children, Bingham and Floyd E. Bingham died at the age of three years and eight months and Floyd died on his 32nd birthday.

The funeral services were held at the home in Lincoln township Thursday afternoon at one o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. H. Marsh of the Baptist church. A large number of friends and neighbors attended the services and paid their respect to the memory of the deceased.

Mrs. Philbrick was a good neighbor, a kind friend, a loving wife, a faithful and kind mother. She rest from her labors.
