Mrs. Lydia Sheller

Lydia Everhart was born near Frederick, Md., Dec 24, 1833, and died May 15, 1906, age 72 years, 4 months and 21 days.

When about 12 years age she with her parents removed to Carroll Co., Ill. On Oct. 19, 1854 she was united in marriage to Samuel B. Sheller who died Sept. 4, 1876. In 1867 they came to Grundy County and settled on the farm where she has lived continuously until her death.

She leaves seven children, Mrs. L. A. Wilder, Mrs. John Dinnes, Mrs. F. E. Button and Mrs. Geo. Schwarck, H. C. Sheller, G. M. Sheller and F. O. Sheller.

Services were conducted by Rev. Cakerice at the Brethren's church at Ivester of which she has been a faithful member for about 50 years. The remains were laid to rest in the Sheller cemetery.
