Mourn Death of Child

Mr. and Mrs. John S. Dirks, living six miles north of Grundy Center, mourn the death of their four weeks old baby girl, Maevena, who died of heart trouble Wednesday. The little one was sick only a day.

Funeral services will be held Friday at one o'clock from the Drake church in Colfax township.

Maevena Hilda Dirks

Maevena Hilda Dirks, aged four weeks and one day, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Dirks, northeast of Holland, last Wednesday, November 30.

Funeral services were held from the Drake church last Friday afternoon, and the remains were buried in the Drake cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Dirks have the sincere sympathy of the community in the loss of their baby.
