Mrs. Johnson passed away at the home of her son south of Aplington last Friday at seventy-five years of age. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Germany. She leaves three sons to mourn her loss, three of her sons having been lost at sea. A brother of the deceased of Illinois, was here to attend the funeral. The funeral was held at the Dreyer school house on Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Wiechmann.
