Obituary
Mrs. Rixter Siehuseen Flessner was born in Ostfriesland, Germany, February 7th, 1835 and died February 15th, 1917, at the age of 82 years and 8 days. With her family she came to America in 1881 settling in Pleasant Valley township, Grundy county, where she made her home until death. Her husband George Flessner, died about twenty-six years ago. She leaves to mourn her loss two sons, Henry and John Flessner of Pleasant Valley township, also one brother and one sister. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Henrichs at the Junker school house on Monday of last week, interment being at the cemetery of near the school house. The pall bearers were A. F. Sents, H. Hook Sr., Philip Brown, L. L. Bausman, B. M. Meinders and R. B. Junker.
