Services Sat. For Margaret Sents

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Baptist church at Aplington for Miss Margaret Sents, who died at the home of her brother, Fred Sents, in Pleasant Valley township Wednesday, March 11th, after a lingering illness. A short service at the home at 12:30 preceded the service at the church. Interment was in the Pleasant Valley Evangelical cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. Frank Veninga. Had she lived until next September, she would have been 70 years old. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Sents, among the early residents of northwest Grundy.

Many years ago Margaret Sents experienced the regenerating power of God and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Since the time of her conversion and baptism (August 1, 1920) she held continuous membership in the Aplington Baptist church. She loved her church and always found her way to the Sunday School and worship services. Her devotion to her Lord and her simple trusting faith in the goodness and kindness of God will long be remembered by those who knew her.

Surviving are two brothers, Fred and Eilerd, both of Aplington. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

She will be missed by her family, her friends, and her church.
