Woodrow, the nine year old invalid son of Mr. and Mrs. Barney Hook, died last Saturday afternoon after two week's illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday. A prayer service was held at the home at 12 o'clock and final services at the Evangelical church at one o'clock, Rev. Nolte officiating. Miss Jennie Sietsema played beautiful variations from "Nearer My God to Thee" and "Asleep in Jesus." The pall bearers were Jakie Peters, Edward Sietsema, John Lindaman and Ben VanHeiden. A quartet composed of Beulah and Gladys Bausman, Ford Eberline and Willie Harms rendered beautifully "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," "Does Jesus Care?" "Blest be the Tie that Binds," and "Asleep in Jesus." Interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
