Mrs. Geo. Haskins

Mrs. Geo. Haskins, who has been sick for the past several months, passed away at her home Tuesday evening, April 1, 1924.

Mary Agnes Rodd was born in Recton, Ill., June 14, 1863. She has been a resident of this community since 5 years of age. She was united in marriage to Geo. Haskins, Dec. 22, 1881 and to this union were born three children: Frank, dying in infancy; Walter A., of Whitten, and Mrs. Nora E. Emmert, of Steamboat Rock. Mrs. Irma Essig, of Ivester, was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Haskins.

Funeral services are being held this afternoon at the M.E. Church, Rev. Smith officiating. The body will be laid to rest in the vault at the Eldora Cemetery until the roads permit the removal to the Benson cemetery at Whitten.
