The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bavender died Sunday from an infected burn on the limb. The accident happened about a week ago when the little fellow tipped over against the stove and burned his leg slightly. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at the home northeast of Whitten about four miles. The interment will be in the Benson cemetery southeast of Whitten. Mr. and Mrs. Bavender formerly lived west of Union and have many friends and acquaintances here in Union and west of here as well as their present neighborhood who sorrow with them in this sad loss. They have one other child, a boy of five.
