Death of Herman Abbas

Herman Abbas, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Engelke Abbas, from the country east of Ackley, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. VanHeiden, north of Ackley, where he had been staying for some time. His death occurred Friday, October 18, 1918, and was due to Spanish influenza and lung fever. Funeral services were conducted from the parental home east of Ackley by Rev. Agena, on Sunday, and burial took place in the little cemetery adjoining the West Friesland Presbyterian church. Friends extend their sympathy.
