Infant Near Ackley Scaled to Death

Ackley, Ia., March 14--George, the 2 1/2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Folgert Kuper, residing three miles south of Ackley, fell into a bucket of boiling hot water, and died as a result. The mother had prepared to scrub the floor. She had gone to the door to call her husband, and the child, standing close to the door, was struck and fell backwards into the bucket of hot water.
