Tom Baskins, a farmer living two miles west of Ivester died very suddenly at his home at 4 o'clock Tuesday morning of heart disease. He was well up to the night of his death. He was about seventy years old and one of Grundy county's pioneers. He is an extensive land owner, he having owned at the time of his death about 1500 acres. He is survived by a son and a daughter.

Thomas Baskins, a pioneer citizen of Grundy county, died at his home in Western Grundy Tuesday, Oct. 13 from heart failure. He was a wealthy land owner and highly esteemed for his integrity and industry.
