Death Of Wendo Oliver Luitjens

Wendo, the three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Luitjens died at his home near Parkersburg last Wednesday. He had been sick for several months and while every help that human aid could give was extended the little fellow failed gradually until the end came. Funeral services conducted by Dr. J. E. Drake were held Friday. A short service was held at the home and later at Wellsburg where interment was made. The large number of friends of the Luitjens family in this county sympathize with them in their bereavement.

Those from a distance who were here at the funeral were Harm Huisman from Bridgewater, South Dakota, Mr. and Mrs. Schultz and daughter, Annie from Luverne, Ia., and Mrs. Riley from Dode, Ia.
