George Henry Eygabroad, an old and respected resident of Wellsburg, died Thursday afternoon, after being in failing health for a year or more. The cause of his death was disabilities attendant upon old age, he being 74 years old at the time of his death. Mr. Eygabroad was born in New York and came to Butler county, in the vicinity of Dumont, about forty years ago. He went to Missouri for a few years, but came back to Grundy county and after living near Holland for a time, came to Wellsburg, where he has lived for the past 20 years. He was a carpenter by trade but for the past several years he has been unable to work steadily, and for the past two or three years has been ill most of the time. Mr. Eygabroad is survived by his widow and ten living children, six girls and four boys. They are Mrs. G. H. Eygabroad of Wellsburg, Mrs. Wm. Goudy, Mrs. Mamie Cole, and Mrs. George Stinson, of Trenton, Mo., Mrs. Etta Lowe of Mason City, Iowa, Mrs. Wm. Garl and Mrs. Frank Lutz of Wellsburg, Chas.
