Died on the 26th of March at his old homestead two miles west of Wellsburg, Mr. Ubbe Bennenga after a short illness. The deceased was born in Pilsum, Ostfriesland, Germany, and came to this country with the early settlers. Two married daughters, one brother and one sister survive him. His age was 68 years and 5 months. The funeral took place last Tuesday with a large attendance by the Christian Reformed church two and one-half miles west of Wellsburg. Rev. W. R. Smidt officiated.
