EITEN

Henry Eiten, living two miles west, came to town last week Tuesday carrying his child on his arm. He paid all his debts notifying the parties that it was his last time in Wellsburg as he intended shooting himself when he got home on account of domestic difficulties, but as he has made such complaints and threats often before it was not seriously taken. However, he carried out his intentions and was buried Thursday. All speak of him as one of the most honest young men known in the community. So far as health, strength, friends and this world's goods are concerned he was abundantly supplied. He was moreover temperate, industrious, and fond of his family to an extreme degree, but the every day skeleton in the closet became at last unbearable.
