Aise Rust died October 5. The funeral took place Friday afternoon from the Lutheran St. Paul church, Rev. Koehler officiating. Mr. Rust leaves 3 children, one son and two daughters. He was 77 years and fifteen days old.

Aise Rust Dead

Aise Rust died at the home of his son Harm Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Rust was born in Laundervanwerk, Ostfriesland, Germany, Sept. 20, 1827. He was married to Gretje Acken in 1853. In 1865 they came to America residing at Illinois. They lived there five years. From there they moved to Hardin county. In 1875 he came to Grundy county where he lived on a farm two miles east of Wellsburg until his death. Mr. Rust was 77 years and 15 days old at the time of his death. He was laid to rest in the St. Paul cemetery east of town.
