Julius Heikens Jr. died at his home in Wellsburg, Friday, December 20, of dropsy, after a lingering illness of several years. The deceased was 32 years old. He leaves a widow and two small children, Julius aged 7 and Fannie aged 3 and a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Heikens, Sr., besides four brothers, John, Ebbo, Henry and Hie, and four sisters, Mrs. Gratus Wilts, Mrs. Arend Nortmann, Elsie and Anna. Julius Heikens was born and reared in this section and had lived all his life here. He married Miss Grace Wilts, and to this union three children were born, one dying in infancy.
