Mrs. George North of New Hartford Is Dead at Age of 78

New Hartford, Ia.--Mrs. George North, 78, died early Tuesday at the home of her son, Clinton North, at New Hartford, on complications incident to old age.

She was born at Keystone, Ia., May 15, 1864, the daughter of Jacob and Christine Ullman. She was married to George North, Feb. 26, 1889, in Black Hawk county.

Surviving are two sons, Clinton and Clifford, of New Hartford; one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Kroemer, Cedar Falls.

One daughter, Mrs. Clara Klodt, preceded her in death.

Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Fred Stewart, Omah, Washington; and the following grandchildren, Dorothy, Margaret, Carol Jean and Winifred North, James and George Klodt; Mrs. Velma Bickner, Janet, Rodney and Melvin Kroemer.

She was a member of the Royal Neighbors, and of the First Baptist church of New Hartford.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Dahl funeral home in Cedar Falls. Burial will be in Fairfield cemetery in Grundy county.
