Death Of Mrs. H. E. Little
Passes Away at Her Home in This City Wednesday Night
Mrs. H. E. Little, for many years a resident of Grundy Center passed away Wednesday night at her home in Grundy Center after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Little was formerly Miss Vesta Mason, a sister of Frank Mason of this city. She was also a sister of Mrs. Woodbury Thorndike, a former resident of Grundy Center, Mrs. C. S. Deane, of Hanover, Mass., Mrs. Carrie Bly, Niagara Falls, and Irvin Mason of Lake Park, Iowa. Mrs. Geo. Cox, of Grundy Center, is a daughter.
Funeral services will be held from her late home at 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon.

Obituary Mrs. Little
Mrs. Vesta Little died at her home in this city on Thursday morning at one-thirty, after an illness of about three months.
Mrs. Little was born at Strykersville, New York on November 25, 1854. She came west with her parents in 1859, and settled in Irvington, where they lived until 1862. They then moved to Waterloo. In 1870 they moved to Grundy Center, where she was married to Mr. H. E. Little who passed away about nine years ago.
To this union was born two children, Justus who preceded her in death, and Mrs. Geo. Cox of this city.
As a girl she was a member of the Baptist church of this city. She passed away trusting in Him who says, "Come unto me all ye that are heavy laden and I will give you rest."
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Geo. Cox of this city; two brothers, F. R. Mason of this city and C. I. Mason, of Lake Park, Iowa; and three sisters, Mrs. O. C. Bly, of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Mrs. C. M. Dean and Mrs. G. W. Thorndike, of Boston, Mass.
