Mrs. Reynolds Funeral Tuesday

Mrs. John (Clara) Reynolds, 87, died Sunday morning, July 27, at the Beverly Manor Convalescent Center in Grundy Center, where she had resided since August 1974.

Services were held at the Ferree-Oltman Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon, July 29, 1975 at 1:30. Rev. John Latta, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was in the Grundy Center cemetery. Mrs. Laura Trevillyan was organist. Pallbearers were Walter Fonken, Delbert Clark, James Mutch, Dale Smith, Warren Feller and Frank Mamminga.

She was born April 25, 1888 at Morrison, Grundy county, Iowa, the daughter of John and Ida (Shimer) Morrison. She was employed for several years as a clerk in the Grundy County Recorder's office. On October 7, 1938 "Cad" was united in marriage to John Reynolds at Mason City, Iowa. They had lived all of their married life in Grundy Center. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband John, one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Maxine) Gray of Hemet, Calif., two step-daughters, Mrs. Lyle (Florence) Hawn and Mrs. William (Alta) Groote of Grundy Center; one step-daughter-in-law, Mrs. Myra Reynolds of Grundy Center. She was preceded in death by one step-son, Charles Reynolds.
