Services Sat. For Harry Bleeker

Funeral services were Saturday at one o'clock at the Engelkes Funeral Home, and at 1:30 at Bethany Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Wayne M. Hoffman officiating. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Mr. Bleeker died at the Grundy hospital on Wednesday morning. He had been a hospital patient five days. Advanced age and complications accounted for his death.

Mr. Bleeker was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Bleeker. He was born on a farm near Wellsburg, Sept. 9, 1877, and he grew up there.

He married Rena VanHorn on March 8, 1905. The couple farmed in Minnesota and South Dakota until moving to Grundy Center in 1925. His wife preceded him in death in March, 1947.

Surviving are three daughters, Flora at home, Mrs. Irene Krull and Mrs. Anna Meyeraan, both of Grundy Center, and one son, Everett, Cedar Falls; two brothers, Hei, Grundy Center, and George, Devils Lake, N.D.; and two sisters, Mrs. Tena Temple, Grundy Center, and Mrs. Tillie Rindels, Ackley. Also 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
