Mrs. Anna Hook Died Monday In Waterloo

Mrs. Anna Hook died Monday morning in the Stephens Nursing Home in Waterloo where she was a patient the past three months. She was 91 years old. Death was due to advanced age and complications.

The body was brought to the Ferree funeral home in Grundy Center, where funeral arrangements were made.

Services were Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the Methodist church in Grundy Center. Rev. E. E. Basye is the officiating pastor. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Mrs. Hook spent most of her life in Grundy Center. Her husband, John Hook, died in January 1956. She lived alone since that time except for several months spent at Maple Lodge in Grundy Center before going to Waterloo.

Surviving is one brother, W. F. Crosby, Fremont, Nebr.; a half-brother, A. L. Davis, Hastings, Neb.; three nephews, Ray Scott, Glenwood, Roy Scott, Waterloo, and Ralph Scott from Nebraska.
