Henry Tschirgi, who for many years was engaged in the draying business in Grundy Center, died in the state hospital at Independence last Friday after a long illness. The body was brought to the Coffman funeral home in Grundy Center where services were held Sunday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. Oliver Stevenson, pastor of First Presbyterian church. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Obituary
Henry Frank Tschirgi was born April 28, 1868, and died March 1, 1940. His birthplace was Galena, Illinois, and when a child he came with his parents to Iowa. Practically all his life was spent in Grundy Center and vicinity. For a number of years he was engaged in draying and while thus engaged he became known as a man who was very accommodating and considerate, honest and dependable, in all his transactions.

The following immediate relatives mourn his death: one son, Harvey, of Quantico, Va.; two daughters, Edna and Henrietta; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Miller, of Dubuque, and Mrs. Herman Demke, Galena, Ill.
