Obituary
Marie Henrietta Diehl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wilson, was born in Shell Rock, Iowa, on Feb. 11, 1914, and died in the Deaconess hospital in Marshalltown on April 2, 1936, at the age of 22 years, 1 month and 21 days.

Mrs. Diehl came to Grundy county with her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brower, about five years ago, and has remained a resident of the county during these years.

On May 7, 1933, she was united in marriage to Nevin Diehl of Grundy Center and to this union one daughter, Luella May, was born.

She leaves to mourn her departure, the husband; the daughter, now 2 years old; the mother; the step-father; one brother, Wilbur Wilson; and three half-sisters and one half-brother, Henrietta, Grace, Caroline and John Brower, all of Grundy Center.

Mrs. Diehl openly confessed Christ as her Savior at the First Baptist church of Grundy Center in 1932, and though not a member of any church, she was a believer.

"Dear mother, thou has left us,
And our loss we deeply feel;
But 'tis God that hath bereft us,
He can all our sorrow heal."
