LYNCH, SAATHOFF, BUSS

Minnie S. Lynch, 92, of 603 Greenwood Dr., died Saturday, March 12, 1994, in Mercy Hospital after a short illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, by the Rev. Thomas Doyle. Burial: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sacred Heart Cemetery, Reinbeck. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at George L. Gay Funeral Home, where a vigil service begins at 7 p.m.

Survivors include three sons, Dale of Sumner, Don of Robins and William of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a daughter, Mary Ann Hebl of Cedar Rapids; and three sisters, Ida Wolfe of Cedar Falls, Etta Wolf of Rockford, Ill., and Jessie Saathoff of Florida.

Also surviving are 27 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1950, a son, two brothers, six sisters and a great-grandson.

Minnie was born Sept. 30, 1901, in Simonswolde, Germany, the daughter of Aylst and Alyida Buss Saathoff. She married Edward Lynch and worked in food service at Mercy Hospital for 15 years. Minnie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Iowa City; Catholic Daughters; and Altar and Rosary Society.

Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospital.
