George Jones Died Nov. 1

George Jones died at 2:30 Monday morning at the Deaconess hospital in Marshalltown following an operation which was performed three weeks ago. For a time Mr. Jones showed improvement, but his condition became serious several days before his death.

Mr. Jones was born March 12, 1862, in Arcola, Ill. He was married to Mrs. Gertrude Renk in Galena, Ill., April 20th, 1936. He is survived by his widow, two sisters, Mrs. Ella McCann of Arcola, Ill., and Mrs. Anna Cofer of Duluth, Minn., and one brother, Jack Jones of Arcola, Ill.
