Floyd Lee Died Saturday

Floyd Lee, age 55, died Saturday at the W. R. Rees farm home south of Dike of a heart attack. He was born Jan. 1, 1893, at Bonesteel, South Dakota, and came with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Lee to Iowa in 1897, and lived near Waverly until moving to Dike about 1903.

He was married to Miss Myrtle Lynn in Dike in 1912. They made their home here, at Adel and Van Meter. Mr. Lee was a barber by trade.

He leaves besides his aged mother in Cedar Falls, four sons, Edward of Dumont, Dewayne of Minneapolis, William of Des Moines and Merle of Oskaloosa. Three sisters, Mrs. Theodore Koch of Cedar Falls, Mrs. Cora Ahrendt of Dike, Mrs. Don Freeman of Hampton; one brother, N. J. Lee of Cedar Falls. His father and one sister preceded him in death. He was divorced from his wife several years ago.

Funeral services were held at the Coffman Funeral Home in Grundy Center Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. M. Trevor Baskerville officiating. Burial was in the Dike cemetery.
