Services Friday For Mrs. P. K. Albright
Services were held Friday afternoon at the Ivester church for Mrs. P. K. Albright, who died on Tuesday of last week at her home in Melrose township. Services were in charge of Rev. W. J. Heisey.
Galen Albright sang, accompanied by Mrs. Kenneth Cakerice. Miss Hazel Draper, Mrs. Harold Hogle, Mrs. Tom Reeder and Mrs. Glen Moats were in charge of flowers. Pallbearers were Fred and Ernest Draper, Hollis and Vernon Miller, and Dean and Glen Button. Burial was in the Sheller cemetery.
Cynthia Blanche Albright, daughter of N. F. and Mary Miller, was born at the Miller homestead May 16, 1872, and died at her home July 19, 1949, after a serious illness of a month.
She was married to P. K. Albright, also of the Ivester community, and spent her entire life within a mile of her birthplace.
To this union was born one son, Clair. Mrs. Albright was always interested in the work of the church. She especially loved children and for 28 years was superintendent and teacher of the cradle roll class of the Ivester church. Nearly 400 children were under her teaching during these years. She is survived by her husband; the son, Claire, and his wife, Alice; a grandson, Wallace, and May Gruis, who has been living in the Albright home since 1922.
She is also survived by three sisters, Lillie Draper, Byrd Meyers, Frances Button, all of the Ivester community, and a brother, Orrie, of Grundy Center.
