Anna Rhoads Stull, daughter of Mrs. Catherine Rhoads and wife of Geo. M. Stull, was born in Sommerset county, Pennsylvania, November 17, 1879 and died at Colorado Springs March 16th, 1906. Last November, Mrs. Stull with her husband and baby daughter went to Colorado where she sought to improve her failing health but she had too long been a silent sufferer from lung trouble to derive the benefit hoped for. Instead of improving, she failed rapidly, and when word came to the relatives and friends at home that death was near, they were unprepared for the message. Mrs. J. Stull and Albert Rhoads hastened to the bedside of the sufferer and all that loving hands and tender care could bestow failed to restore her to health. She died as she had lived, calmly and peacefully.

On October 5th, 1898 she was married to Geo. M. Stull. From thence her ambition was home making. To it she devoted her head, her hand and her heart. Her home was simply the reflection of the one who made it bright, cheerful and happy.

Besides her husband and little daughter, Mrs. Stull leaves her mother, sister and two brothers. The remains were brought to Beaman and taken to the G. W. Beery home to await the hour for funeral services which were conducted by Rev. Peterson at 10:30 a.m. Monday when the last tributes of love were paid by a large circle of sorrowing friends after which she was tenderly laid away to rest in Oakland cemetery.
