William O'Connor died on Dec. 9, 1908 at his home in Fulda, Minn. of heart trouble and dropsy. He was born in Darlington, Wisconsin and was 63 years old. He was among the early settlers of Grundy county, having come with his parents 35 years ago.

He was married on Jan. 3, 1887 to Miss Mary E. Corbett and to them were born two sons, John E. now at his home in Fulda, Minn. and Willie H. who died in infancy.

Mr. O'Connor will be remembered by many of the Grundy county people as he owned and tilled a farm in Clay township. Eleven years ago he with his family moved to their present home in Fulda, Minn. where they have since resided. He was an indulgent father and husband. The remains were brought to Grundy Center and taken to the home of Jerry Connell and from there to the Catholic church where the funeral services were conducted by Rev. Father Hogan and the remains were laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery beside his infant son Willie.

Besides his wife and son there are left to mourn his loss his aged mother, five brothers and three sisters.

Mr. O'Connor was an industrious and honorable citizen.
