Mr. Schrafel died at his home two miles east of here last night. The old gentleman had been in poor health ever since coming here from Germany over two years ago. For the past few months he had been feeling unusually well, but was suddenly stricken Sunday and died Monday night. The deceased leaves a wife and several grown children among whom are Mrs. Wm. Flanders, Mrs. Henry Hotopp, Wentsel and Joseph Schrafel and Miss Celia at home. Another married daughter lives in Marshalltown and still others remain in the old country.
