Mrs. Kopsa Died At Home of Daughter

Mrs. Amelia Kopsa, a resident of Grundy county for 20 years died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kalons near Lohrville, Iowa, last Thursday night as the result of a stroke which she suffered a few days before. She had gone a short time before to the home of her daughter for a visit.

Funeral services were held at the Catholic church in Grundy Center Monday morning. The services were conducted by Father Leo Entringer. Burial was in the family lot in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Mrs. Kopsa was 60 years old. She was born in Bohemia and she was married there to Frank Kopsa. There were eight children born to this union. They are Frank Jr., Grundy Center, Anna Kaliney, who died in November 1938, Robert from Conrad, Marie Hellmich, Conrad, Mollie Kahlons, Lohrville, Joe, Conrad, Theresia Schramvoski, Marshalltown, and Carl from Conrad. The husband and father died Nov. 9th of last year.

Mr. and Mrs. Kopsa came to America and Grundy county 20 years ago and resided here up to the time of their death.
