Mrs. Elizabeth O'Connor, 87, of 31 Lafayette St., died of a coronary occlusion and complications incident to advanced age at 10 a.m. Friday.

The daughter of Michael and Mary Holland Roach, she was born July 4, 1866, in Seymour, Wis. On Feb. 19, 1889, she was married to Murt O'Connor in Seymour. They came to Iowa and settled on a farm in Grundy county, where they lived until Mr. O'Connor's death on Apr. 23, 1898.

For many years Mrs. O'Connor was a resident of Waterloo and had been a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church for 36 years. She also was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Joseph's Church and the Third Order of St. Francis.

Surviving are one daughter, Mary, at home, and two brothers, Henry of Bismark, N.D., and John of 325 Archer St.

Her parents, husband, one daughter, six brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.

The body is at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home, where funeral arrangements are pending.

Mrs. Elizabeth O'Connor Dies In Waterloo

Mrs. Elizabeth O'Connor died last Friday at Waterloo. Old age and complications were the cause of her death. She was 87 years old.

Funeral services were held Monday forenoon at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Waterloo. Burial was in the family lot in the Catholic cemetery in Grundy Center. Mrs. O'Connor was born July 4, 1866 at Seymour, Wisconsin. Her maiden name was Mary Roach. On February 19, 1889, she was married to Murt O'Connor. After their marriage they came to Grundy county and resided on a farm here until Mr. O'Connor's death April 23, 1898. For many years Mrs. O'Connor made her home in Waterloo where she was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church for 30 years.

Surviving are one daughter, Mary, at home and two brothers, Henry Roach, Bismark, North Dakota and John of Waterloo.
