Hugh Catherwood Died At Morrison Friday

Hugh Catherwood died at his home in Morrison last Friday forenoon after an illness of a few months. He was 80 years old.

He was a native of Ireland. He was born in Movil, Dunegal, Ireland, and was married there.

The Catherwood family came to Grundy county 35 years ago and resided in the vicinity of Morrison ever since.

The Catherwoods had eight children. Five of them with the mother are living. The children are Mrs. George O'Bar, Los Angeles; Hugh Jr., Des Moines; Robert, Daniel and Michael, who are at home.

Funeral services were held in the Catholic church in Grundy Center Monday forenoon. The services were conducted by Rev. Leo Entringer. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery.
