James J. Maloney, a pioneer settler of Grundy county died Wednesday evening April 13th at the age of 71 years. He was a veteran of the civil war and a member of the Andersonville post of Beaman. He leaves to mourn his wife and daughter also two sisters and a brother of Morronville, Kansas. Interment was made at Oakland cemetery.
