Mr. P. K. Boughton, a former resident of Morrison, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Blake in Kossuth county last week and on Friday evening the remains were brought to this place. Short funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Jensen Saturday at 10 o'clock a.m., burial taking place in the cemetery near town where the wife of the deceased was laid to rest a few years ago. Deceased was a member of the G.A.R. Post of Grundy Center, and his casket was lowered among the stars and strips of his country. Another old soldier has gone to his reward. Peace to his ashes. A son of the deceased from Kossuth county, Iowa, and a daughter and her son of Ohio, were here to attend the funeral.
