Clifford S. Green, 100, of Des Moines, formerly of Conrad, died June 16 at Scottish Rite Park. Funeral services were June 19 at Conrad Assembly of God Church. Burial was in the Conrad Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established.

Clifford was born December 10, 1903, the son of Charles D. and Hattie (Scoville) Green. He graduated from Vinton High School and then attended Coe College and Iowa State College. He married Mahala Baurle on August 11, 1928. She preceded him in death. He then married LuElla Harberts on December 6, 1964.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and a son.

He is survived by his two sons; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
