Mary Louise Kinsinger was born January 1, 1929 in Webster City, Iowa to her parents Ira E. and Vera B. (Van Winkle) Barrick. She lived in Franklin County near Hampton, Iowa where she graduated from Sheffield High School in 1948. She married L. George Kinsinger on June 6, 1948 in Hampton and soon moved to a farm northwest of Grundy Center, IA. They lived there for forty-four years before she and her husband retired to Camdenton, Missouri in 2000.

Mary loved her family and was devoted to caring and providing for them. Some of her favorite times were spent at large family celebrations. She was a great cook, had a large garden and helped George with the farm. They were members of Colfax Center Presbyterian Church in Holland, IA where they attended with their three children. They would take summer road trips finding new adventures in New Mexico, Colorado and Michigan or along the East Coast. Later they became snowbirds staying in Pensacola, FL and western Texas for the winters. For the past 15 years, Mary loved her home on the Lake of the Ozarks where she and George would host gatherings for their children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband George, her sister, Joan P. Nolte of Mason City, IA and her brother-in-law, Duane Renberg of Thornton, IA. She leaves three children, Cynthia S. Willson of Papillion, NE, Cheryl I. Miller of Overland Park, KS and Douglas S. Kinsinger of Topeka, KS. She leaves two son-in-laws (Gary Willson and Mark Miller), a daughter-in law (Rebecca Whitmire), four grandchildren (Jeremy Willson of Overland Park, KS married to Elle Willson, Jennifer Leu of Costa Mesa, CA married to Adam Leu, Adam Kinsinger of New York, NY and Alex Kinsinger of Topeka, KS) and two great-grandchildren (Brandon and Nathan Willson). She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Ira E. and Vera B. Barrick, her brother Russell G. Barrick, her sister Carol J. Renberg and her young grandson Matthew W. Miller (son of Mark and Cheryl Miller).
