Services for Mrs. Carrie L. Neesen, 67, of 418 Cutler St. will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Central Christian Church with burial in St. Paul's Cemetery at Wellsburg.

Mrs. Neesen died Tuesday afternoon at Parkview Gardens Care Center of a heart attack.

Friends may call at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Carrie L. Neessen

Services for Mrs. Carrie L. Neessen, 67, of 418 Cutler St., who died at the Parkview Gardens Care Center 5 p.m. Tuesday, will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Central Christian Church with burial in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery at Wellsburg.

She was born June 14, 1910, in Grundy County, the daughter of William and Emma Jepperson. She married Thomas L. Neessen Dec., 1927, in Allison.

He died in July 1972, and a son, Merlin, died in July 1954.

Mrs. Neessen was employed with the Chamberlain Corp. for 31 years before her retirement in 1975. She was a member of Central Christian Church, the Central Christian Church Chalice Circle of Kings, Sons and Daughters and Chamberlain's retirement association.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Marjorie Ann) Truax of Dallas, Ore.; three sons, Thomas F. of 2321 W. Third St., Cedar Falls, Heiko of Lebanon, Ore., and Floyd with the U.S. Army in Hawaii; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Vernon (Thelma) Groninga of Ackley; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Luck of 250 Clark Dr., Cedar Falls; Mrs. Genevieve Brocka of New Hartford, and Mrs. Rita Sullivan of Independence; two brothers, Willis Jepperson of Lewisville, Tex., and Floyd Jepperson of 530 Kirkwood St.; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

There will be a 7:30 p.m. prayer service Thursday at the O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home.
