Victor F. Diedrick, 88, of Hudson, Iowa, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls, Iowa. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the NewAldaya Lifescapes Chapel, 7511 University Avenue Cedar Falls, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be held privately by the family at Reinbeck Cemetery.

Victor was born on September 25, 1927 in Garner, Iowa to his parents Fredrick and Emma Diedrick. He attended Reinbeck High School. Victor was united in marriage to Marjorie Slessor on April 30, 1961 at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Reinbeck; together they welcomed their son Paul into their family.

Victor worked on his farm in Hudson until 2013. He was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Reinbeck. There he served the church in many roles including as an usher. He loved raising his livestock and the many cats that made their way onto the farm. Victor was a handyman; he could fix anything and enjoyed tinkering.

Victor is survived by his wife Marjorie.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son Paul.
