Rites Held For Glen R. Didio

Glen R. Didio, 80, of Reinbeck, passed away at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo on Sunday, June 17.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Reinbeck, with Rev. Everett J. Frese officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Glen R. Didio, the son of John and Louise Olson Didio, was born February 27, 1910, at Lisbon, ND. He was raised in Ross, ND.

On November 24, 1938, Glen was united in marriage to Ethel Curren at Sanish, ND. They moved to the Reinbeck area and farmed for many years, retiring in 1975.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ethel; one infant daughter, Mary; one brother; and two sisters.

He is survived by three daughters, Karen L. Olsen, Peoria, IL, Glenda Devick, Reinbeck, and Rita E. Bevard, Fulton, MO; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Blaine, of Bremerton, WA, Alfred, Tacoma, WA, and Joice, of Stanley, ND; and two sisters, Mildred Erickson, of Port Orchard, WA, and Fern Nelson, of Stanley, ND.

The French-Hand Funeral Home in Reinbeck was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
