Mary Markwitz Buried Monday

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Johnston Funeral Home here for Miss Mary Etta Markwitz, 57, who died Friday at the Union Nursing Home in Union, where she had made her home the past four years.

Rev. R. O. Grote officiated. Burial was in the Conrad cemetery.

Special music was provided by Miss Evelyn Stevens, and flower attendants were Mrs. Merlin Alpers and Mrs. Walter Geisenberg.

Casket bearers were Larry and Kenny Markwitz, Jim and Jack Youngblood, Merlin Alpers and Walter Geisenberg.

Mary Etta Markwitz was born December 28th, 1908, at Conrad, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Hundermark Markwitz.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 1952.

Survivors include her father, three sisters, Mrs. Harold Mortensen (Lida) of Cherokee, Mrs. Claude Groesbeck (Hanna) of Beaman and Mrs. Merle Stover (Bernice) of Iowa Falls and three brothers, George and Bernie, of Conrad and Raymond of Beaman.
