Homer Stover Dies At Norfolk, Nebraska
Homer Stover, 72, a former Conrad area farmer, died Sunday of pneumonia at a Norfolk, Nebraska hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Conrad Presbyterian church, followed by burial in the Conrad cemetery.
The deceased was born November 22, 1892 at Conrad, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Stover. He was united in marriage to Sibyl Thomas on January 8, 1917. The couple farmed here until moving to Denver, Colorado, 20 years ago to manage a motel.
Mrs. Stover passed away in 1962.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne of Norfolk, Neb., and Glenn of Albuquerque, N. M., two daughters, Mrs. Lyle Dodd of West Bend and Mrs. Robert Sayre of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, Guy of Dike and Ray of Whitten; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
