Death of Mrs. John Mennenga, Sr.

Mrs. John Mennenga Sr. died Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Rah. Death was the result of a paralytic stroke and old age. Funeral services were held at the home at noon Wednesday and later at the Rev. Hoefker church.

Mrs. Mennenga was 68 years old. She was born in Ostfriesland, Germany and came to this country about forty-six years ago. She with her family resided in Ogle, county, Ill. Forty-one years ago she removed to this county where she made her home continuously up to the time of her death. Mrs. Mennenga's husband died October 21st, 1910. Since that time she has been making her home with her children. They are Mrs. Hemmo Luppen, Mrs. Hilko Bleeker, Mrs. John Rah, and John and Ubbo Mennenga
