Daughter of O. Sherfield Dies Tuesday From Intestinal Flu

The eleven year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Onkie Sherfield, who was taken seriously ill last Friday with intestinal flu, passed away at the home of her parents early Tuesday morning. She was born in September, 1921, at the Sherfield farm home in Grundy county, German township. Her parents, two brothers, Thomas and Raymond, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Casper Jutting of Cleves, remain to mourn her departure. Funeral services were conducted at the Eastfriesland Presbyterian church at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Rev. F. Engelke officiating. Interment was in the Eastfriesland cemetery. The sorrowing family has the sympathy of the community.
