A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Aukes last Sunday. The little one was dead on birth. He was buried on Monday. This was Mr. and Mrs. Aukes' first child.

Mr. and Mrs. Simon Aukes mourn the loss of their infant son born Sunday afternoon. The little one lived but a short time, yet long enough to endear itself to its parents. "Budded on earth to bloom in Heaven." A short prayer service was held at the home Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. Kraft and burial took place in the Evangelical cemetery.
