Funeral Services for Mrs. George Cox Held at Home

Funeral services for Mrs. George Cox, who died at the hospital in Marshalltown last Wednesday, were held at the Cox home in Grundy Center Friday afternoon and there was a very large attendance. The services were conducted by Rev. J. B. Bird, pastor of the Methodist church. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Obituary
Sadie Emma Little Cox was born in Grundy county, Iowa, May 13, 1880, and died Feb. 15, 1933, in the Deaconess hospital, Marshalltown. She was the daughter of Herb and Vesta Little, both of whom as well as an only brother have passed away.

She was married to George Cox October 25, 1916. Of their two children, Lois Ellen went to the Heavenly home 14 months ago. The son George together with the husband survive.

Mrs. Cox had been in gradually failing health ever since the death of Ellen, but the fatal nature of the sickness became apparent only in these later weeks since she became confined to her bed.
