Mrs. James Bowers, Longtime Grundy Resident, Is Dead

Mrs. James Bowers, 85, resident of Conrad and vicinity for the past 34 years, with the exception of five years spent in North Dakota, passed away early Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mark Ralston, of heart trouble and old age. Mrs. Bowers has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Ralston since the death of her husband two years ago.

She leaves four daughters and three sons: Mrs. James Morgan, Pasadena, Calif.; Mrs. H. H. Richtmeier, Iowa Falls; Mrs. Geo. Hurdle, near Marshalltown; Mrs. Mark Ralston, Conrad; Charles, of Whitten; Cornelius, of Liscomb; Luther, of Conrad.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at the M.E. church and burial at the Conrad cemetery.
